Dave's Baaaaaack! Nuff Said.
Howdy kids! WLC here. I'm in charge of putting up information from the Jets to you. Here is a note hot off the press from Dave. Enjoy!G'day Jet Setters,
How the bloody hell is everybody? Just a quick update to fill you in on some of the stuff going on in Gleeso's world. My beautiful wife Katie gave birth to our son James at the end of April and they are both doing absolutely brilliantly. Bella, my daughter is over the moon about her little brother. Nuff said.
The Jets have now officially parted ways with Grant Walmsley, and due to a whole raft of business and personal reasons, I shall be making no further comment about the finer details. Nuff said.
Exciting developments on the release of our long awaited (by us at the very least) CD. There have been some very exciting developments on the release. I cannot go into much detail about it yet, but it will certainly shut up the people who have written us off over the last few years.
We have our fingers crossed at the moment and we anticipate a ( dare I say it ) August release.
We can’t wait to get back on the road after 3 months off, and I have to thank the rest of the boys for giving me the precious time with my new baby, as well as helping the wife out with the domestic duties. So thanks lads.
I turned 40 last week. Nuff said.
So its off to Darwin first week of July and then touring all thru the month. Lets get fuckin' rockin'!
All the beast,
Gleeso.
P.S. I hereby promise that from this time on, I, Big Wave Dave, will hereby submit a blog every week without fail, to The Jets Website, in the name of Carl Williams, Amen.

Good to hear all is well in old Adelaide Dave. Mate, i`ve just turned 41 and have a 2 week old lad, Marcus, brother to 20 month old Ginger-Rose so I feel for ya, but hey what a feeling! Got to say I`ve been seeing (and buying, quite a collection too!) The Jets since `91 and when I saw you play Chelsea Heights a coupla months back it blew me away! The new blood in the band is what you guys needed. Seriously over the last five years or so i was on the verge of a snorefest at some of your shows. Nothin against Grant( great songwriter and player)but he played it safe, too safe. I love a bit of mystery and danger in my rock, especially live. Now the two guitarists are playin off each other like a fucking gun battle, its awesome to hear. Hears too ya Izzy and Scotty!. Keep rockin you cats see ya round next time
Congratulations to Dave & Katie
on the birth of your baby son!
Nice to see you little girl has company now!!
Can't wait to see the Jets playing again. I noticed in the local paper today The Jet's will be playing in The Hunter Valley on the 18th July.
Keep on rockin' you may be 40 Dave but you still rock like an 18 year old.
Rock On Jets!
Kathy :)
Whoops... I realised I had the Maitland date wrong when I posted the comment. Tickets are selling at the HVB so hurry all you "Pumpkin Pickers" this gig looks like it will sell out, considering it's a small venue too!
Thanks for posting other gig dates on the web.
K :)
Dave.
So what did happen to Grant.... I think we all deserve to know. After all this time, you can't expect us to be loyal and then pretend nothing happened. Some of us actually give a shit. The least you could do is tell us what the fuck happened to him.
