Dave's Say: Sonny Bill Williams
Short and sweet this week my good friends.Much has been said , good and bad, about Sonny Bill Williams walking out on his extremely lucrative contract at the doggies (rugby league).

I could not give a flying fuck how unhappy he was, whether there was conflict with coaching staff, other players or fucking grounds keepers, they are all moot points. The bloke signed a contract fair and square, no one held a gun to his head. He is an adult. So here's the deal, you either honour your contract, or re negotiate your way out of it. What you don't do is run away like a fuckin cat and then tell every one from the other side of the world how courageous your actions are. And as if that wasn't enough bullshit to make us choke on our weet bix, Sonny then tells us that he only did it so other young players may benefit down the track.
My advice to Sonny Bill and other weak bitches like him is, do what ever you like with your own life, but don't piss on us all and tell us it's raining.
And one other thing, if Anthony 'The Giant Killer' Mundine is the most vocal supporter in your corner, you might want to think about changing corners...

P.S. The Screaming Jets signed a dodgy contract when we were 22 years old that we are still beholden to today. Cry me a fuckin river Sonny, see you in 18 years wherever you are.

What has SBW or Mundine have to do with you, whether or not you agree with their actions?
Since 1990 you have carried on like a dickhead, both on and off stage. It was funny to begin with, but people tire of that shit mate. People want to listen to you guys rock, not you being a goose. How many times have the punters/other musos/industry people (like it or not they are in the business), have come up to you and said, "Dave, you guys rock, and I absolutely love the way you trash talk."
You manage to alienate a significant amount of the public, and those that are not offended are most likely not impressed.
And what about the line up changes? Did all the past members fully support Dave's rant?
People like to see some humility. Unfortunately when TSJ were the best rock band in the country, their front man would not shut the fuck up.

Daves "shit" is the Screaming Jets and the Screaming Jets ARE the best rock band in the country..and not "were" as you stated.
Jimmy I think you see the Jets as Daves job.
I see the Jets as Daves passion.
Thank fuck there are real people like Dave who arn't afraid to be themselves and have the guts to tell it as they see it.

At least Dave says what he means and means what he says. He says the shit, people like you are too scared to say.
At the end of the day SBW did the wrong thing, you just can't walk out on a contract, if you could we wouldnt need contracts now would we. Thats what they are there for. To hold you to an agreement. And if you sign a contract, whether you like it or not, you bloody stick to it. If he didnt wanna be there he shouldnt have resigned.
And Dave, never change, keep speaking ya mind it is why people think that The Jets are the best band in the world.

I thought this is a democracy and everyone is entitled to an opinion and to voice it. Dave's done that, what's the biggie??? You love TSJ, great buy their music 'cause it rocks!!! You don't like Dave's opinions, then don't listen. He's true to himself, that's all anyone can be, just like you're being to, but come on mate, fair suck of the sauce bottle. Rock on Dave!!!
