The Screaming Jets wish to announce the departure of long serving member, guitarist, Izzy Osmanovich. Izzy has decided to move on, and although it is another setback in a long series, The band plans to continue after his departure.

“Losing Izzy is going to be real tough,” says singer Dave Gleeson, “he has been an integral part in the growth of the band over the last 12 years, and I actually believe he is one of the finest guitarists in the world.”

The fact that the Screaming Jets will be looking for a replacement as soon as possible, is testament to the fact that this band may continue on forever.

“Obviously losing such an important member, is always a kick in the guts, but we wish Izzy all the best in his future endeavours, and then we start the process of trying to find someone to fill what can only be described as huge boots, but that’s rock n roll.”
